Magna Carta Cartel is a group of swedish musicians, a band, that plays and writes music.Some of the music is instrumental, and some of it is not. All of it is sincere.
Some people say that they sound like Petty, Vangelis, U2 and Moroder all at once, others say that they resemble the sounds of Floyd, Jarre, Oldfield, Morricone and Eno - and some even claims that the band's music sounds like a vacation from the music industry as is!
Band says that "...music is music, not what gear you tend to use expressing it. Heavily distortion don't say metal, out-of-tune guitar doesn't mean indie. The way of expressing those the musical scores is merely coincidence, PR or lack of sense. The music is what counts. At least in our world. That is the trip for us."
